If you're searching this website, we assume you only want to find listings for new homes, model homes, to be built homes, or lots to build on. Here are some tips to eliminate the older homes (if you choose) and just see the newest construction.
One of the choices you'll see to check is "New Construction". While this works, it only pulls up homes that a builder has specifically listed as "to be built". Most buyers will want to see all the new homes, especially finished ones that have just been listed.
The best way to make sure you see everything listed in the Myrtle Beach MLS is to put a "Year Built" preference on your search form and leave the "New Construction" option open. We advise to give it a little leeway in the date, also. If it's the first quarter of a year, set the date to the prior year. If you are in the final quarter of a year (Oct-December) then we suggest using that year for your criteria.
You may also want to check the box for "Land" as well as homes. A vacant homesite will not be included in a search that is checked for homes only!
Good luck with your search! If you find something you like, please call and let us be your representative to the builders. You need a buyer's agent beside you to protect your interests when dealing with builders or their on-site sales people!
